NEed some help! dont dely, my pistols were destroyed today

k so today tragdically one of my seth pistols flew out of the back of a truck and got run over twice. twice damnit twice, its totally fucked, and the guy whos truck it is is gonna get me new ones, but what i need to know is, is one new skis good enough, id have to get new bindings mounted, so one ski would be brand new mounted once, and the other ski would be used slightly and mounted twice, wouldnt that fuck it up? i have no clue, can i get some input?

 
but everytime you remount it, the ski gets weaker and has more tendancy to snap in half

i cant describe the vibe i get when i drive by 6 people and 5 i hit
 
oh by the way, the ski was mounted on an offset binding thing, so the ski has been detuned one way, its weird, i donno, i kinda want totally new ones, but thats kinda harsh for the guy that messed them up

 
i dont know if you can get just one ski, but yea, a ski can be mounted up to three times i think

get new skis, then send the bindings in on warranty just to see if it will work, say you hit a rock or something

yeah you cant buy just 1 new ski dude so i guess you have to get a new pair. and why is he paying? its not his fault. dont mean to flame or anything but its your fault, and you can actually get it shit for stuff falling out of your truck

well its weird cause i wasnt with him when it happened, he was taking my skis with him, and he said he was paying, and thats the only way i can get new skis cause i dont have money, but if he talks to a k2 rep is there a chance at one ski?

 
OHHHH. i though you ment the dude who ran it over is paying. why did someone else have your skis? and it is VERY unlikely you will be able to get 1. just keep the old good one for a backup

Just get a new pair...I bet you could find a sweet deal somewhere. And then take the one that got totally destroyed and hang it on the wall- you can tell people that it got destroyed when you attempted a 100 foot cliff huck or something...yeeeaaahhh...

if he is paying for one new ski and you want a new pair, just buy yourself a new pair and split the price in half. and wait like a couple weeks and buy the new pistols. think of it this way: you can get 600 dollar skis for 300 bucks

Legal reasons will prevent a warranty ski from getting in your hands. Or else all of my friends would be riding matched pairs of K2s:)

Skis are matched up according to flex when they are packaged. Besides, the new Pistols are significantly stiffer than than first version on Seth's call. Look on EBAY and shit or the current ones will be cheaper this week with the new graphic arrivals. If this would have just happened, you would have been golden as my friend sold his unused Pistols for 300. Deal and a half.

 
yeah, between different skis, different models, different mountings, and different binding shit, you are gonna have two funky ass skis to ride on.

 
do you own a ski rack? Mine opened up when i was driving and 4 pairs of skis got thrashed. Long story short, they paid for my skis and replaced my rack. If you wanted to be unethical you could say it opened up and your shit broke.

Tell him to buy 1 ski (so the price of a new set divided by 2 ovbiously). Then just chip in the same amount and get a new set. You might be able to sell the one ski that is good, maybe. It sucks that the whole situation happened.
