Some of you on NS may know of one of our more low key team riders named James farmer. You may of sessioned with him at Mammoth, Big Bear, or Mt. Baldy. He is a quite kid, who expresses himself through his skiing.

On Easter Sunday, James and friend and team member Lars Ellingson were sessioning the jumps at Bear Mountain, throwing down some big stuff. Something went terribly wrong on a landing, and James took a big hit. He was air lifted out to the trauma unit, and has now fallen into a coma since Monday. He has suffered some bleeding and swelling to his brain, and some minor strokes, and is in very serious condition. For those who know him, or even don't at all, please send out your good vibes and thoughts his way. I believe this can really help in some unknown way. Our thoughts, and prayers go out to him and his Family. We are hoping for the best but also know how major a brain injury can be. James is now in intensive care at Palm Springs regional Hospital.

Thanks ns.

when ever someone eats it that harshly, who ever the skier is, it sucks, whether you know him or not.

good luck mang

My thoughts go out to James.

Just out of curiosity, which jump where you guys sessioning? If it was that second one from up top, that landing was super sketchy for me on Monday.

To quote the ad for Stand Strong Again:"As a community of skiers, we share the same risks. When one of us falls victim to those risks, it is up to the community to give support." One love bro.

UPDATE ON JAMES:

There will be a special fundraising Dinner to help raise funds for James and his Family. James has remained in a Coma since The day After Easter.

If anyone would like to attend the fundraiser dinner it will be this Sunday April 22nd at the Buckhorn Lodge 5pm to 7pm, in Mt. Baldy Village. CA

Thank you to everyone who has sent good vibes out this way to help James continue to hang and fight. He remains at Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs. Pray 4 James!

Thanx everyone!
