Need Some Direction

I'm a pretty new skier (at least on twin tips) and I just got down a nice, clean 3. I know I can get a 5 so that's what I'm aiming for right now. After I get that which direction should I go? Start grabbing some of the 3's and 5's?

The biggest jump we have in our terrain park is 45ft and you can't really get over a 7. So should I try to spin to a 7? Just need some guidance :)

yeah just start working on getting your 3's and 5's stylish and try adding some grabs in there... that will get you used to spinning in the air then move your way to a 7

Try grabbing them, that'll help improve air sense, and it looks 28342834328--42 times better. If you think you can't get over a 7 you're wrong, 45 feet is easily enough for a 10. I learned 7s on a 4 footer in the park at my mountain when it only had 1 jump. There were kids throwing cork 7s off it too. Go for the grabs first though. Then work on 7s.

Ok, thanks for the help so far.

Also, for our jump its not the type that you'll get 80ft into the air in, you can barely get enough speed to clear it. I'm working with a 205ft drop hill, and the park is about 110ft drop. I'll work on getting some sick grabs on my 3's then eventually start throwing them on the 5's then we'll see about a 7.

def start to improve on grabs and style cuz i think thats its more important to be able to make your tricks look good rather than how fast you can spin

Yeah I'll try styling them. My friend is the complete opposite, he thinks grabs look stupid and they are gay so he just tries spinning as fast as he can.

yah grabs are so crucia for the style i guess makes it lok aot better

and my first seven was off a 10 footer and my two buds threw a 9 off of it
