yo. just thought i'd try the regionals out since i can't find anything on craigslist. anyone got some bindings they might want to sell? I'd rather find some close by then do ebay. let me know. thanks

i have some literaly brand new Dynastar P10 (basically look Px's,)

So the din only goes to 10, i haven't used them, there mounted, but there isn't a scuff on them and the brakes only go to about 70-80 waste, but being that it's a look px, all of the look px brakes fit it,

i'd probably let them go for $50ish

let me know.

never ski'd a rossi binding before. are these bindings nice? i'm seeing some good reviews. how much would you get rid of them for?

in terms of performance AND durability, IMO it goes Tyrolia>FKS>old sollys(performance I like a little more than FKS but they're not as durable, likeS914/S916/914 Lab)>STH>>Dukes and non turntable looks/rossis

So yes they are good. The other thing you could do is wait on Tramdock, which has $100 PX12/14 type bindings tons for $100ish.

Not 100% sure what you are saying there, but I might ask what makes you like the pre-releasing tyrolias so much?

916s and the like are easily the most durable binding out there, ever, period.

I like the retention of pivots/fks/nova a bit more though, and I don't need the bombproofness of s916s.

sth 16s are ok but the heel is a bit wack and not as bad ass as the 100% metal versions

tyrolias like to pre release and break.

dukes are good if you want to tour, but don't compare to actual race bindings.

I will get back to you on a price. not really sure I want to get rid of them.

Although I think I have some look zrs some where that you could have for pretty cheap.

Haha, 916s aren't the most durable binding out there... The wings and the AFD(I think it's called, the part the bottom of your toe is on) have small important pieces come off all the time, not to mention Sollys brakes breaking the most of any binding company out there. I love them, but just because they're almost all metal and weigh 6.4lbs doesn't mean they're the most durable.

And yes, cheap Tyrolias suck horribly, as bad as low end Sollys, and I wouldn't ever touch a Marker binding other than Dukes, or low end Looks(so to sum up all binding brands have shitty bindings).

Tyrolia Peak 15s and 18s are great, way more durable(different materials) than some past or lower end Tyrolias(including Peak 12s), and don't pre release. I've owned FKS 155s, Marker M series, Dukes, Solly 916s, S914s, 914 Labs, Tyrolia Peak 15s, Tyrolia Peak 18s, Tyrolia FF12s and a few others, and like the GOOD Tyrolias the best. They feel best edge to edge and I can ski them at a lower din than any other brand of bindings(I found that the FKS heel pre-released at the same din that Tyrolias didn't, and Tyrolias still did come off when they should). Dukes don't compare to the better bindings I named and neither do Jesters, which is why I put them at the bottom of my list, and the only reason I own a pair(on my 202 Lotuses) is so I can tour decently(takes Trekkers off the list of options) and ski real hard(takes other AT bindings off the list). I simply didn't like the feel of non-FKS Looks(and Jesters) but they do alright and lots of people love them.

Show multiple examples of this in peak 15s and 18s and I will accept being wrong.

I have been horrible to my FF12s and the only thing they show that looks bad is paint chips, which I don't think are a performance problem..

no, the thing is I can't, because no one uses them. there is a reason you only see 916s(and similar) PX race and p18s in those tours
