Need som info on the best helmet on the market....prolly been posted before I know..

u need to tell us what kinda helmet u want like a park or big mountian casue there is a big diffrence between the two

of all the helmets ive seen giro helmets have impressed me alot and they are extremely comfotable, Giro is the way to go

get something with in-mold construction. (not like a skate helmet, like some of the reds and the Giro Encore) try the 9, fuse, and G10. they fit differnt thou. marker makes some real nice ones too believe it or not.

when you say the G10 fits different..would the sizes fit and be a little more different compared to their other helmets? cause im getting an audio G10 MX and i just tried one of there other ones one at my shop to get what size i am and then im gonna order the G10..so sohould i still get the same size?

Last week I finally gave in and bought a helmet. I tried on some Protec, Red, Giro, and Bern, and I ended up getting the Bern G.

The liner is knit and really comfortable, plus it's removable, if you wanted to use your own crocheted hat or something. The helmet didn't make my head feel as bulky as others, and I liked the look (obviously personal preference).

It was pricey at $120, but instead of buying in the store, I ordered one off of proctor jones for $60 bucks.

Bottom line, don't discount bern until you've tried one on.

most good helmets are in the 100's..when i went to whistler the first day my dad bought a giro helmet hahaha

here is the scott helmet there is also many different colours and the other one i like is in turquies

Either the Salomon freestyle one is sooo sick and light, or the RED Trace, or i use the bern baker which is also wicked./.

bern baker

i love the removiable liner it covers like a whole bunch of the back of your neck

the only downside to the baker is that it is uncomfortable

to waer with certian goggles like ones that dont fit under the rounded brim

Hi Fi's are some of the best helments for park, only thing i have against them is they break kinda easy, better then your skull though. All REDs are damn good though, the trance is probly gunna be my new one for this year.

maybe they came out with a new salomon helmet or something but all the ones i saw last year and this summer seemed really gay

http://www.sweet.no They sponsored Julien Regnier last year and this year they`re sponsoring Hugo Harrison,Eric Hjorleifson and Rory Bushfield. They also sponsor PK Hunder,Espen Linnerud and Nicklas Karlstrøm. Bottom line, they`re the shit. Ive had a trooper halfcut for a season and it rocks, had a couple of bangs but werent at least affected by it cause of the helmet. An other thing is that they can modify it to fit any scull, but it already fits most people. Last year they won a design prize in Norway for beeing innovative, so theyre also dope-ass helmets. Check out the limited editions of the trooper halfcut in Limegreen. Ps. They also make dope outerwear, beanies and hoodies.
