Need ski advice

Hey Newschoolers

I’m looking for a new pair of skis, i ski at snowbird so we get quite a bit of snow, but i want a ski that makes the whole mountain a terrain park, and also dip into powder from time to time with little struggle, i am 5’8 120 lb. i am on a budget so probably no more then 300-400$ on a ski, any suggestions help thanks.

Really think you should get 2017 k2 poachers. there are still sites online that carry them. they are in your budget because they are from last season HOWEVER the only thing that’s different for 2018 is the graphics. exact same size and contruction on both. they’re 96 at the waist perfect for pow and perfect for terrain parks and all mountain charger. REALLY think that’s the perfect option. for you. let me know what you end up getting

Hey thanks for the input, two things I’m a bit hesitant about the poacher is the weight because i am pretty light and i heard the poacher is a bit more heavy and the ability to float in powder, it snows a lot here and I’m not sure if it could handle the snow, do they do better then I think in the snow?

I have k2 skis that are 88 mm at the waist and have rocker in the tip and tail and they float on softer snow and I’m Sure the poachers do to being even wider and having a little more rocker in them.

I would go wider than the poacher. 96 isnt very wide. Maybe look into the marksman if you want some wider K2's. Other skis to look at would be the Line Blend, Liberty Origin 106, Armada ARV 106, 4frnt devastator, Moment PB&J, Sego Tater Tot, On3p Kartel 108 etc.

Almost every company makes some sort of playful all mountain ski. If you had more info on what you want out of the skis we could probably narrow it down. Also, your budget might limit you to previous years skis or the BS/T forum here.

I would suggest the Armada JJ 2.0 because its buttery in the tip and tail but stiffer underfoot but a bit out of your price range.
