Well first of all the Diamond Peak park completely blows unless they have done a MAJOR overhaul on it in the past two years. The pipe is ok but other than that it is nothing. The chairs that take you to the top of the park take like 20 min to get up there and they are triple chairs. Diamond Peak is a friendly resort overall but if you are going to Tahoe I would go somewhere else. If you want a good park and a good overall mountain try Northstar, Alpine, or Squaw. If all you want is a park check out Boreal. Heavenly is also pretty good but if you on going to be on Northshore it can be a pretty long drive.
