Need Powder skis eg JJ vs Amperage vs Caylor

Hi,

I'm looking to get a new pair of mainly powder/all mountain skis, but I've mainly skied park all my life so I don't really know which ones are best.

I'm 18, 5' 9'', 175lbs and confident skiing any terrain. I've already got some Armada ar7s (166) and Salomon 2012s (171) so I was looking for somethings a little bigger for pow days and off piste. I've heard the armada JJ's/ Black diamond amperage/ ON3P Caylor are good but wouldn't know which or what size to get. I would be skiing them for a season next year so they've got to be durable.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Chris

Take a look at the line influence 115s! They are by far the most poppy and responsive skis ever! Plus they absolutely RIP on groomers. Also I find that, surprisingly, they can get some nice butters! If you are looking for a fun ski that you can shred everything on and feel confident hucking cliffs and shred bottomless pow at mock 5 go with the influence 115s!

Whilst the Influence 115 are a great ski, I'm not sure how well they'll suit OP. The Influence 115 are directional skis designed for big mountain skiing. So considering OP's mainly park oriented background, I think he would appreciate a twin rockered,a more jib oriented ski with a more bidirectional shape and profile.

Ok correction now that I understand better take a look at the shaggys skis tubbys they are fully symmetrical 119 waste with powder rockered tip and tail! Demoed them and they are the best free style pow slayer!

i was in a similar dilemma and ended up choosing bent chetlers over the caylors because i got a deal on them. imo those are what you should be looking at, they are just fun skis to jib around in some waist deep. jjs just felt weird to me
