A series circuit contains three resistors, R1=370 ohms, R2=480 ohms, and R3= 279 ohms. They are connected to a potential difference of 55 volts. How much current will flow through R2?

Can anyone tell me how to solve that?

Yeah dude.

Resisters in series can be added together to get an equivalent resistance. Then just use I=V/R to find the current of the series. Since current is constant in a series circuit, that answer is the current through resister 2.
