Need Photoshop help quick!

So I'm not very good at photoshop, but I have one image open and I need to put a another image in the background of it. But the first image needs to overlap the second. So I just need to know how to put the second image in the background.

minimize the first image and then open the second one and drag and drop into the picture you want it to be in then just play with the layers

when you open the second pick double click on the layers pallette to unlock it. then just drag it onto the other image.

well whatever I figured out how to do it, but just for answering to this thread I will give you all karma.

well you can take the Magneto lasso tool and Control+c to cope and Control+v to paste on to the other image

and to make it blend you can take your eraser tool and turn the power to 1% and rub the edges until they look good and blended and if it needs touched up you can use the clone stamp tool

depending on what ver of photoshop you can also use feather tools and re-size tools to get a more pretty outline of whatever is being pasted onto the other photo. basically when you have a mask, click on adjust mask and there are a few useful options (this is off my head btw, could be wrong about some of the labels!)
