Need p15 wide brakes

invaderskier36 was apparently selling a bunch of brakes a while ago, but I thought I remember hearing that he was lying and just trying to get attention.

You'll probably just have to bend the ones you have. Those brakes are very hard to find.

really not that hard to bend. there is a great little video tutorial on how to bend them with a ski pole. i can't remember if i saw it here or on tgr. i just bent some today using that method. probably took a total of three minutes and they're perfect.

step 1. clamp down your kick plate. (the thing your boot pushes down to raise your brakes up.

if you dont clamp it down you will fuck your shit up. preferably with a C vice grip clamp)

step 2. bend brake arms straight out

step 3. place some sort of fulcrum around the brake arm. i like to use the round end of a crecent wrench. use the small ones. it should take like 2-3 to reach the sidewall of your bents.

step 4. bend brake arm. the wrenchs will protect the arm from breaking making a nice 90 degree angle.

step 5. repeat on other side.

if you dont clamp down the plate you will end up ripping the arms out of the underside of the plate and then your fucked.

damnit im scared of that^ how did it snap, what part in the bending process? what part of the brake broke?

i need some too if anyone has 2 pairs haha.

it seems the tgr method, whether taking the brake completely out or clamping the plate or using a boot, is hit or miss, tons of people are like o yah its so easy just do it, but so many break. what is the secret? do u need a torch at all, id think that might help?

Just bend slow and things will be fine. If you snap a brake on a new set of bindings then you're definitely doing something wrong, older bindings are a little trickier. A torch will help the initial bend, but once the brake cools down it will become brittle--not good if you're planning on actually using the bindings.

And good luck finding a set of pre-bent brakes, you'll need it.

Brakes are never hard to find:

Go to Rossi website and get customer service phone number. Call customer service. Ask for brake. Give credit card number. $15 and 3 days later the brake will be on your doorstep.

Rossi customer service is great.

the thing is is that they dont make the p15 anymore. you cant really put in aother pair. if they';re gone they're gone.
