Need new ski's

Hey I'm new here but I'mm looking for a new pair of ski's since mine are about 10 years old now.

anyways I live in Nova scotia and the 2 closest hills to me are 600 and 800 verticle feet.... so not exactly huge...lol

I want a ski I can use in the park so I cna get into that since the terrain here is not challenging and I get bored. But I can't afford to buy strickly a park ski that won't perform on the groomed surface. Ideally I want a ski that I can spend 50% of my time skiing all mountian and 50% in the parks.

so after about 20 years of skiing I'd consider my self an intermediate/advanced skier. I'm also 5'10 and 220 lbs and used to skiing a 193 they are Kastle tcx 05's (definateyl TCX series might be off on the model number)

can anyone recommend a size range (I did read the sizing sticky) and ski's that might fall into this category.

so far I've considered K2 public enemy's, Line chronice wides,Volkl Karma, Volkl

Mantra and Dynastar trouble maker, Rossingnol Scratch FS (was suggested to me)

thnaks in advnace

any other suggestions or if u think one of those chocies is bad let me know.

I've been looking at reviews and some other posts on this site and alot of people think they're too soft to be a good all mountian ski

I'm also 220 and they only come as big as 179 (I think that's the biggest size I've seen) so that mghit cause my issues especially if they are kindda soft for all mounitan given my weight.

thanks I'll look into them

I figured I'd be lookngi or something in the 18-190 range... but most twin tip ski's don't go above 180

anyonelse know of any stiffer ski's to look into??

I think that's about the stiffest twin out right now, but maybe you could check into the Gotamas or other fat twins? Go to a ski shop and check flexes if you can, if not, I'm almost positive that there aren't any park skis stiffer than the Karmas.

thanks man

I'd love ot demo these if at all possiable but it will be knidda hard in my area with out any big time resorts

but I'll look for a volkl dealer and see if they might have a demo

But I would take the k2 pe, Volkl

Mantra, Dynastar trouble maker, and Rossingnol Scratch FS off the list.
