I am from NZ so looking forward to the ski season. Earlier i looked at my skis and found that i am about 180cm tall and around 70kg riding some 158cm rossi pow airs. I was thinking about getting a pair of the new fujatives(are they any good, how are they diff to last years), some PE's, or mayb some 1080s which i tried last year and really liked since they felt really short but werent so had stability. Should i be going for about 180cm? i want a ski that is a good length for stability but doesnt feel really long and heavy like the PE did when i rode it last year.

THE WORST PART ABOUT BEING ATLANTASKI IS BEING

^He means ar5's

--------------------------------------
'Duran Duran bought Armada, Armada bought Microsoft, Microsoft bought MSP and AOL, AOL owns Time4 which owns the MountainSportsMedia which owns SKi, Skiing and RIP Freeze... so Armada now owns McDonalds and Coke.

Do they^^ still have the problem with edges getting ripped out and fucked real easy like the did last year?

go with a pair of fujitives...i havent had any probs with them that ive had with other skis! cheaper to...way fun to ski on

I wish i was a gangster

i would suggest you don't go above 180 (since you're used to a shorter ski, the jump to a taller ski that you would be kinda awkward) so def go with a mid 170 or somethin. ar5 would be my best guess.

stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

reppin' the dfp

keep it real.

dont be afraid of going to a longer ski, def 175 or longer, ideally 180ish. I havent heard any problems about armadas durability this year, and the are 5s are stiffer than the fujatives and have a really nice flex(soft but not unstable soft).
