I need a new park ski. I want something softer than my Scratch FS. I am leaning towards the anthem but I dont know if they are heavy or not or how the width effects it in the park. I am 5'10" 165 lbs., just want some input.

if i were u id get anthems. the width from what i have heard makes so little of a difference in park u dont notice. and i dont think they are heavy. this being said i have never skied them.

my anthems ski like a super skinny ski. they are light and super soft on the landings. the extra width just makes it that much easier on landings

dumonts are so nice i hear thrusters are super nice to lighter and pretty much the same flex pattern. so those 2 skis are pretty much the same

atomic urban punx are soooo sick if u want a buttery ski and they are really light. i would highly reccomend them

I know its all personal preferance, but in my opinion the ar6 is not soft as I am only 120 lbs and find them of having a medium flex. Once you break the ar6s in after a couple weeks you can butter on them just like you could on invaders. Plus ar6s have a wood core with tons of camber and pop, which is one of the most important factors imo. Lastly, if you are hitting bigger features, icier features as well get the ar6 its stiff enough so you can land on a reliable ski and not wash out on a big landing. The dumonts would be a close close second as they are sick but honestly the ar6 is the way to go.

thats wierd cause the dumont is the thuster and skp combined pretty much from what i have heard of. ive also tryed both and loved them both. i didnt find it to much softer

yeah... but urmmm NO.

My 07 AR6s skied a good 100 days and are not even remotely close to my 08 Invaders for buttering - seriously don't have a clue what made you think that lol.

I have to agree with you. Ar6's are nice skis provided they hold up. Mine are doing so well, but they are still solid even though im having some issues.
