I've had these 25.5 rossignol boots for the past 3 years and last season I outgrew them.I'm looking to buy some 26.5 boots thinking of full tilt, salomon but i'm open to any other suggestions.

I would not recommend buying boots online, go to your local ski shop and try on their boots and figure out what one fits your foot the best

Did this for the first time this year and went to a boot fitter. Realized you shouldn’t be buying for a brand, but what fits your foot. I wanted something in the new K2 line but realized that did not work with the width of my foot. Went for a low volume nordica boot and it feels way better. Got custom molded inserts just to go all the way too

Boots arent like skis. Ya just dont get one online and walk away. You need to have boots fitted. Thats why you go to your shops and have your foot measured before even looking at brands of models

Thank you for the suggestions went to a bootfitter and they suggested to get full tilts as it fit the shape of my foot well. Luckily they had some in my size so i got the drop kicks.

I was definitely brand biased my early ski career. Was rocking three buckle boots but kept blowing the top buckle of my Nordica Spades. The second time a boot fitter had to replace the buckle, he bluntly told me I wear the wrong boot for my skiing style.

I literally tried on every 130 flex boot on the wall and ended up in a Lange RX 130 - I was shocked. I literally had judged people wearing them previously. One of the best decisions I ever made was my first Lange. On my fourth pair now. They fit great out of the box, and perfect with a custom molded footbed (I prefer masterfit). Luckily I have what a fitter would consider a "boring" foot.

No wonder half the pipe pros wear race boots...

Yo I think I saw you in the same shop I went to, I ended up getting fitted for some Salomon SPK's with the rubber toe (because fuck toe bang). They also hooked me up with some dynastar trouble makers for a killer deal.

Maybe, the guy hooked me up with a killer deal got brand new ft for less than 400$

tell me more about your "New Boots" and the boot fitter that recommended them... was he old enough to remember the movie "back to the future".

ROFL @u Kiddos.

Full tilts made my feet feel like they were broken. Couldn’t ski more than 4 runs without having the worst pain (I also ski on ice everyday which doesn’t help). Got Dalbello Krypton’s and really like them after about a year of using them. That being said everyones foot is different. Try on different boots and pick what feels best.

Yeah that’s why I went to a boot fitter to make sure that I didn’t get a boot that would make my feet hurt.

The only way to buy boots is to go to the shops and try on several options based on your foot measurements and skiing requirements/level. This is the only way to go about getting something that really fits and is good for you. Buying online without checking fit on feet is not going to be likely to arrive at a good result. Even something as simple as how well the boot spreads the load of pressure on the shin is variable between manufacturers, and also because your anatomy and physiology is unique. Getting a pressure point on the shin while skiing will rapidly ruin your day. I tried on full tilt in the same shop I ended up buying my current boots from, and they gave me that exact problem almost immediately when I forward flexed standing in the shop, imagine how they would feel within a few runs if I could already feel pressure points on the shin within minutes in the shop.. Go try as many on as you need to, to find something that feels great on.

Your not the only one with that experience with full tilt. I had the 2010 booters and my ankles broke in 2014 by overuse. It wasnt bad in the park, but once I stepped out in the big mountains, my ankles would swell out. I bought the cochise and my ankle problems dissapeared
