Need iPod Help

When I try to update my pod a page comes up called DARIANS IP (K. On the page there are 3 folders. They are calenders, contacts, and notes. Inside calenders there is nothing. Inside contacts there is

is your itunes open? acuse someimtes that happens to me if my itunes isnt open before i plug my ipod in

Sorry pressed the wrong button. As I was saying inside contacts there is ipod_created_instuctions and ipod_created_sample. Inside notes there is instructions. None of these can be opened without using something else like the internet and my iPod will not update. Has this happened to anyone. If so, what should I do.

my iTunes is open it just wont update but it updated yesterday

I think so because it was installed like a week ago on my new computer dut i have updated it already so its not the computer i dont think

it always says "do not disconnect" when its connected to the computer...

all of that stuff should be on your ipod (those folders). it sounds to me like you're just opening the iPod's drive.... like how you go into C:/

oh, and opening the ipod folder has NOTHING to do with updating it, so i have no clue what you're doing.

how is it not updating? (did you open the updater, or did you open itunes 7? if so, then if it still doesnt update, you might have a problem that you need to talk to apple for)
