for my public speaking class (yes that's actually a class), our assignment is to give a speech/demonstration on how to do something, it can be funny, witty, pretty much anything that isn't too complicated, it should be about 5-6 minutes in length, any ideas?

its not your topic that the teacher is interested in, its how you present it. make sure to be clear and that everyone understands what you are trying to say.describe how to do something stupid to keep it simple

did this in high school.do a demonstration of how to tie a tie. you should know how to do it and takes the perfect amount of explanation to fill 5 minutes and get you a good grade

i did a paper on how to slide a rail and something i don't know what its called on a blunt 5 in english last year and i think i did a descriptive thing on a cover of freeskier i dont know she got kindof mad after the 3rd skiing based assignment

haha I am also taking this class. And I had to do this same assignment. I did how a football is made. Pretty lame subject but I got a decent grade. For the most part humor is always on your side. I actually did a 7 minute speech on procrastination and got huge laughs and a perfect score. Try to find a subject that will actuall appeal to your audience, thats always key.

well I live in maine where medicinal marijuana was recentley legalized so you could do a presentation on how to roll up a doobie, but use tobaccoo unless you got a script for weed.
