Need help with sony vegas 8 pro

Hey dudes and dudettes, i recently downloaded sony vegas 8 prooo off a torrent, because i needed to make an edit for school project purposes and didn't feel like using windows movie maker. I opened the program and i have no idea how to use it. Very confusing controls and shit. Anybody havea link to a tutorial or somethingof that nature? Thanks guyyyyss

..probably because its nothing like wmm

make sure you're using the right importing settings for your footage..

use their " walk through" its under the help button in the program and then you can look for stuff through the help button to, thats what i did

for some basics.... s is to split up a clip

and to make it a movie instead of "save as movie" or whatever, you click "render"

if youre uploading the footage through vegas, prepare to have a massive file size.
