Getting new skis. Looking for mainly park skis but also need them to be decent on other parts of the mtn. Maybe some new boots too (FT) gimme some suggestions

I’m

120 lbs

163 cm

So the arvs width will just depend on how much park vs all mountain you will ski if you are planning on skiing some powder go with 106 but if not stick with the 96 for park. The Candide 2.0 I’ve heard have a fair amount of flex but they are still sturdy and not like a floppy ski you can hit decent sized jumps and not be worried.

I’m about 80/20 park/powder. I’m leaning towards the 106s because I’m planning on skiing on only one pair of skis and it sounds like they can handle all the terrain

Will the arv 106’s come in your size because I was going to get the arv 106’s but decided not too because the length was too long for me and most were sold out. I ended up getting the Candide 2.0 they just seemed like a better ski because low 100’s is good for me in powder but still easy to ski in park and anywhere else.

I’m biased towards kartels, rode the 98s last season and they were amazing for a park/all mtn ski, and even did decently in pow. Got some 108s for this year so I’m v excited to try em

Yeah the kartels are a great ski too, my friend has a pair and they are very sturdy and most likely won’t break which makes them heavy but they do great in almost everything.
