Need Help with Engineering Problem Please :)

You are the designer of the hand vice shown in Figure 1.11. You want it made and have decided to subcontract it. What types of drawings do you think you would produce to be sent to the sub-contractor (Section 1.6.2)? How many of each type would you need to send to the subcontractor to SPECIFY the vice design.

Any help is appreciated.

If you are a successful engineer, simply draw a very large number directly after the $ sign on a check from your company. The subcontractor can and will take care of everything. In a week's time he will present to you a host of different drawings for you to choose from, taking care of all of your work for you. This is how the world works, and you won't learn it in college.
 
Bit of a catch 22 there. You won't be a successful engineer if you just throw $$ away mate.

OP: The pics would seem pretty essential to this problem. Maybe try uploading them to image shack or photobucket etc?
 
I am assuming this for some Intro to engineering class. Get the book that came with the class and look in the book. Yes actually read the book you got for class and find the answer.

Amazing, isn't it, that the book they make you buy has some relevance to the class.
 
There is probably a verbatim answer to that question in your book. Section 1.something means first chapter, which means it's in the super fucking easy section of your entire major. If you need help now, it's going to be rough.

Read the book and finish homework in 30 minutes, then go drinking.
