Need help! There are things living in my room.

Me and my roommate are freshman in college and living in a dorm room. It's a fucking mess, real dirty, food everywhere and a fair amount of garbage. Recently I have found little red bugs in my bed and wondering what they are. If you're wondering, we are now sleeping in friends' rooms to avoid the bugs. +k

why would you let it get that dirty in the first place? that makes no sense, that's not attractive to anybody especially women. and it is definitely not healthy to have a messy living space.

i'm just picky as fuck with cleaning...the worst is when you are getting a ride with someone else and you are going to jump into the passenger seat and they have to clear off a billion things and throw it in the back seat where it just piles up.

and I don't believe they are bed bugs, because I think they are to small to be seen (please attack if I'm wrong haha) they are probably some bug living and breading in your mess of a room.

onetime in 6th grade i was cleaning my room and found a nest of winged ants living in a pile of my clothes, no joke, freaked me out so bad i now keep the cleanest room around.

(i know

coolstory right?)

anyway, they're probably just AIDS, i would get tested.

Never even tried to let it get that dirty, it was spotless a week ago but have been party for past week and crazy shit happens to our room when we come back drunk with food and whatnot. Either way this fucking sucks, I'm glad we're almost done.

they just started flying everywhere when i pulled off the top shirt , scariest moment of my life haha.

yeah i'd get checked out,

always double wrap

never pull out, never surrender

Why the fuck would you do that?

And OP, thats bed bugs, they turn red after they have fed and are full with blood, it may be something else, but from what you said, sounds like bed bugs.

I have had bed bugs before. They can come from anywhere

not necessarily just a dirty room. Right now you sleeping in your buddy’s room

is a very bad idea. Those things are awful and really hard to get rid of. They

can attach to your clothes and wherever you are they will follow. They are

known to travel up to 50 yards or something like that each night just to eat at

ya. What you will need to do is take all those clothes you want to keep and

wash in the hottest water you possibly can. I do mean every single article of

clothing too. Finally, you will have to get a professional exterminator in

there. No other way to get rid of them. Sometimes this doesn't even fully work.

Good Luck though.

What the fuck...

How can you even live like that? Just fucking throw your shit away when you're done with it. I don't understand how people can let their living space get so dirty that shit starts growing in it/bugs start hanging out.

Oh you know, sometimes i just do it in the name of sarcasm.

sometimes its to keep the aids bugs off my dick.

Bed bugs are actually quite visible by the naked eye. I'd say there about half the size of a cricket and leave behind a terrible mess (their shit) and horrible smells. Be warned bed bugs are not a thing to take lightly!

You've apparently never had bed bugs...Shit sucks. Bites every night, if you don't take care of it, it gets worse. You don't need an exterminator though, you can buy bed bug kits, the one I got had a powder you put on the mattress, then put it inside this bag for 24 hours, make sure you get your clothes really good as well because they live everywhere.

These two kids I know had the messiest room last year. When you opened their door the whole floor was a pile of their stuff/clothes etc and you had to step up onto their upper level of filth. It was like a solid 6 inches of filth that had built up. The kid kept his computer on the floor on a pile of clothes. The room always smelled, just not a good living situation,

Keep you your room clean.

I had a big fat roomate in first year and he would throw all his empty pizza boxes (1/day) and McDonald's rappers (1/day) on the ground. His side of the room was so covered you couldn't see the carpet. I eventually told him to clean it up and thus never had bugs in my room. OP your best option is to build a time machine go back to day 1 and smarten up :)
