Alright, so I just got 2012 K2 Kung Fujas and hopefully gettin the new Full Tilt Konflicts. But the only problem is I know jack shit about bindings, so what would you guys recomend for someone who is all over the mountain. Probably spend half my time in the park and the other half outta bounds. Thanks

So you only ski park or duck ropes? damn dude, you're cool as fuck.

As for bindings, check out some 12-14 din bindings, salomon, rossi, marker.

Well I figured you guys didn't need a fucking bio on every run I hit, but ya thats where I'm at most of the time ha.

thanks for the binding help. What is the din?

Your din is how high you can set the tension on the binding. You were asking that right?

Your binding will have its name followed by a number. That number is how high the din can go.

Where you say you ski, go for something 12 to 14ish depending on your height/weight and skiing ability. go with something metal... aka, get the Marker jester over the griffon... an STH oversized over a z12. and so on.

cheers!

Alright thanks guys. I think I'm gonna go with the Marker Jester's. Just keep hearin nothin but good reviews on em. Hope they shred!

Don't do that just yet. How much do you weigh, how tall are you, how long have you been skiing? These questions all need to be answered before anybody gives you binding advice, I don't know why NS is just jumping straight to giving suggestions.

personally i would go with griffons over jesters as i dont need my din to go over ten let alone 16.

also they are lighter and cheaper.

i have px12s and they are awesome, px series and royal family are where its at for preventing pre release as they dont let the pressure off as the heel comes up. it makes it harder to click in but unless you are going to be hiking to any super sharp ridges thats not that much of an issue.

Well i'm like 210 lbs and 6'1. And experience wise, I'm a begginer that likes to just go for it. I started skiing last year, but I learned quick. I ski swithc a lot, pow, small (10-20ft) cliffs, not too technicall in the park just yet but I can throw backflips, frontflips, 180's, 360's. I'm lookin too start skiin bigger and better things tho next year. Plannin on a lot of Mamoth trips and a couple Vail trips. Just need a binding that I can learn bigger and better terrain.

budget? age? weight? skier type?
I like Salomon STH's a lot.A Look pivot or Rossi FKS you'd also probably enjoy.I wouldn't go marker unless you plan on getting an AT binding.
and out of curiosity, why konflicts?

Read the comment above your last one and it'll anwer most of your questions.

I went with the konflicts cause they're full tilt's all mountain boot this year.

I haven't looked into this years konflict enough...but last years was ridiculous stiff (10). It would be uneccessarily stiff for you, I don't know what the flex is like on the 2012's in comparison, do you? aaaaand if you plan on using your skis for several seasons it would be in your best interest to buy a quality binding.
