Need help on external hard drives.

I am in desperate need of some external hard drives, my desktop already crashed and my laptop is about to crash. I have little to no knowledge on external hard drives and need some advise on whats good and whats not. With the amount of footage I currently have, I was thinking one or two 2 tb hard drives.

I would advise goin to Costco and looking. Yesterday I picked up a 3tb seagate GoFlex Desk and I love it! It can easily go between macs and pcs I guess. Nothing but love with it on my end right now. And it was only $130! Pretty cheap if you ask me compared to some other ones I was looking at in the apple store
