Hello, I am about to purchase some '08 line anthems for 299, and there are certain bindings that I can choose from.

I am 220 pounds, I basically exploded my last look bindings from under me, im 6'2, above average and like big air... out of these bindings, is there one in particular that would suit me? I am very unfamiliar with bindings, Im not very educated about them, thanks to anyone who has advice.

for get about the z10s and 12s there too flimsy for you weight. and pretty low din. id say you best bet would be the sth16s or if you can find some p18s or fks 185s

Anthems are not the skis for you. They aren't good for big jumps for small people. I am 6'2" and 190 and they are SUPER flimsy under me. I like them alot, but if I were any bigger it would be terrible for washing out. If you land backseat on anything over 40 or 50' there will be no chance of coming up, you will wash out right away. I have sth 16s on mine and they are perfect. If you really want a symetrical ski look at the 185 volkl walls.

I'd reccomend something a lot stiffer.

Anthems are going to buckle and die under your weight. Get something a bit burlyer.

Oh, and go for something with at least a 14 din setting.

I weigh 130 and I crank mine to 10, for example..

awesome

thanks alot for the help guys, i thought the anthems would be stiff enough, and i was looking forwrad to using the butter zones. but im not gettin lighter any time quick so ill check out those volkl walls.

also, has anybody ever used chronics with centre mounts? that I here is a ski that may hold my weight to avoid washing out.

thanks again

STH 16 is the greatest binding i've ever used.

Re-inforced everything, wicked coloursm ect. So aweseom

out of that list u posted the ONLY binding i would get for your size is the sth 16... im 6' 205 and have atomic ffg14s (same as solly s914) and ride at a din of 12. so that basically eliminates all those other options if u ride aggressively at a higher din and since u said u exploded looks underneath u u will need the metal in the key points of the bindings that the sth 16s offer to help with durability
