Need help on a big decision.

What should i buy, a Go Pro... Or a New xbox360. Im a pretty hardcore gamer and my old Xbox broke so i havent played in like 6 months. But i also want a Go Pro, Only have money for one. WHAT SHALL I DO!
 
Go Pro Go Pro Go Pro...cant advocate enough....supereasy to use, interfaces with the comp like cheese goes with wine and enables you to film with superb ease and steeze. You can mount it on just about anything if you have a drop of creativity or have ever seen macguyver. The other day we didnt have a pole mount so we took two pencils and some electrical tape and BAM the thing hasnt moved a millimeter in two days of filming perfect steady follow cams. The footage is great quality and you can pause and do still frames or make sequences real easy. Also it makes filming so much less of a hassle so you get waayyyyy more footage and waaayy more cool shots...xbox if for the kids who cant actually make friends so they resort to videogames and virtual worlds...
 
Thank you kind sir, but is it hard makeing edits and stuff or uploading footage, never done anyththing like it.
 
my gopro has been my best investment of the entire year!
i can definately advice it !
i didn't have any experience with edits either when i bought it, but the learning proces is very rewarding!
just make sure your pc can handle the footage 1080p footage or 720 60fps footage requires a strong processor ....
 
I would say GoPro.
A few years back... [Okay more like 6 years ago] When I was a young admiring teenager. I was offered to be on the Babbage's [for you youngsters, that's the precursor to GameStop's] Halo 2 team. I was in the online clan and played close to 8 hours a day. Ironically it was the only time I had a girlffriend but that's not the point.
I think buying a GoPro will encourage you to go outside and live life. To take advantage of maybe a sunny day. While an xbox may only encourage you to sit and may not encourage much creativity.
I LOVE xbox. But I would go with the camera. ONLY if you have the means to edit though. That's the best part!
 
perfect argument.. go for the gopro... you've gone 6 months without the xbox already.. if you're really dying for it in another 6 months think about it then.. but you wont be because you will have a sick gopro and will be outside filming all the time!!! haha
 
A video game system or a very versatile POV HD Camera that shoots in 720, 960 and full 1080p. I think we all know the verdict on this one....
 
judging by the thread title i thought you were gonna ask for help on something like moving, choosing colleges or killing some dumb bitch
 
if it takes a gopro to encourage you to go outside, buy neither and sit on your ass all doing nothing.

really, how frequently does it occur that you think "man it's nice out, I'd go outside, but I can't film everything I do in HD, then make a shitty edit to upload to youtube...so what's the point?"

but i'd buy the gopro, and try to pick up a used or refurbished xbox on the cheap.
