Need help choosing bindings.

I got my first pair of twin tips this season, they're atomic twins, but

they have integrated atomic race bindings regular mounted, and I think

i'm ready to put on some freestyle bindings that are forward mounted.

I'm 6'2'' and 170lbs. the skis are 175's and I probably spend 50/50

park/allmountain.

Any suggestions or even offers with new or good condition used bindings would be awesome.

Look px12, Rossi Axial 120, Salomon s914, Rossignol FKS 120, Salomon z12ti. Any of those would work fine for you at 170 lbs you most likely need a din of 8-9 if you are intermediate

Well, if you are looking for the lightest binding and have cash to burn then grab the Marker Jesters. They are extremely light. Some people will tell you that they are pretty fragile, but I've bombed many a jump/cliff without any hassle

i believe salomon is the lightest but i could be wrong

jesters have a centralized swing weight which makes them feel even lighter

its not about the lightest though its about what doesn't pre-release

oh and i'd suggest look px12/ rossi axial2 120. Also check salomon

s914 and the z12 now that look and rossi don't make pivots anymore they're pretty comparable bindings. And i'd stay away from marker, you usually don't get everything you pay in terms of performance

yes, if you have the money, the Jester is a great binding. I just didn't recommend it because it seems funny to put a nearly $400 binding on a skis that are worth less than half that.

If you want the lightest, go with the z12ti, or some older s912ti if you aren't worried about a high din or pre-release. So, go with the z12ti.

Quiksilver owns

group 1: dynastar (skis) look (bindings) lange (boots)

group 2: rossignol (skis, bindings, boots)

skis and boots are different, however look bindings and rossignol bindings are the same thing with different names.

look px 12/ rossi axial 120's have a better heel than look nx12's/ rossi axium 12's. Nx12's/axiums are lighter in weight but i wouldn't recommend them for most people over 150 pounds. Nx12's/axiums are composite while look px 12/ rossi axial 120 are composite or ti. Ti is stronger

Ive heard Markers coming out with some new bindings next year like the jesters but cost less and only have a din to 12 (good enough for you). Might wanna check those out. Other than that id say px12s

If i was you, i wouldnt go for the lightest, but the strongest and most durable. Check out orloskij's sale for some nice axial2's. Also evogear.com has great deals on px12s and axial2 bindings. Buy bindings with the dildo (heel piece that sticks up) because they are more durable and just look sick.
