Need Help Burning DVD's

I edit using Final Cut Pro. I don't have DVD Studio Pro, so I use a program called Toast. It's pretty basic, I just drag my video file into Toast and click Burn. When it's done, my dvd's seem to loose a lot of quality and sometimes are disorted for a frame or two. Does anyone know where I can download a good DVD burning program, or know why my videos loose so much quality when I burn them onto a DVD? I have a GL2, so the quality is pretty descent, that is until it is on a DVD.

I usually just do File>Export>quicktime movie...I know it is a Final Cut Pro quicktime file, but it is pretty clear...For videos on the internet I do File>export>quicktime conversion...Do you know why Toast brings the quality down? Like, it makes the movie so shitty sometimes. It makes it even pixilate sometimes.

the problem is not toast but how you are exporting the movie. You are exporting it as a quicktime movie (.mov). You need to properly export it as a dvd file to retain the quality. I'm sure there are tutorials on google on how to do it since I am not sure. Or maybe someone on here can help..
