Lets introduce myself..

I'm 16, 140 lbs, 5'8 and i ski East Coast (QC!!!!). I was wondering wich ski should i buy. I had already a small idea but i need help from a guy whose infront of his screen reading this thread and knows what he is talking about when he is talking of skiing. I was thinking about J.O pros and Scratch ghetto or armada's. I would love a ski that i can Butter. Finnaly .. wich bindings?

Dont worry about money..

Leave comments.

Thanks

jo pros would be really good for quebec, theyre just not super buttery. a great ski though. the armada thalls would be a good bet, and if you like doing presses on boxes and butters off of jumps the new armada alpha-1 would be perfect for you because theyre rockered in tips and tails so you can press onto that but they still have camber in the middle so youd be able to lock into rails and have stability on jumps.

you could go with the anthems or invaders. the new graphic on the invader is pretty sick and there are the limited edition anthems that are sick graphics. i have invaders and they have the butter zone so that speaks for itself. the anthems have it too. for bindings id say some look px12 jibs? maybe if money isnt an issue some marker jesters.

get armada t-halls. they can do anything. a bunch of my friends ride them and they are soft enough to butter, but stiff enough to stomp the shit out of big airs

Invaders for an east coast park ski would be great. Thalls would be okay too. I would NOT buy alpha 1s unless you demo them first. Because if you don't like the rock you are screwed. Probably gonna be a baller ski but it is so different than anything else that you will want to try it first. If you can, demo as much as possible.

thalls would be buttery, as would the scratch fs/ghetto. i love the pop the ghettos have, personally that would be my pick. also, px12s or maybe the new deadbolts/mojos. im not sure why people look at any other bindings

From telling us that you want something buttery, I'm going to assume you ski lots of park; you didn't tell us where you ski on the mountain.

From what I've heard/seen, the Invaders/Anthems are top performers in the park area. You want something soft, buy those. A soft ski won't hold up as well on jumps though, but you probably know that and are looking to mess around and do more rails.

Those are probably the cheapest and best known soft park skis out there now. They have this funky double edge technology to reinforce your edges from cracking/breaking/whatevering when you slide rails. I've heard it works.

Maybe give us a little more info about how/where/what you ski, and we can give you better responses.

^I love kickers and like to hit some rails but i prefer kickers. When i told you that would like a ski that i can butter its because i want to try this this year but dont worry too much about it. I just dont want a too stiff ski. Where: i like to ride everywhere on the mountain ( i want a ski that i can turn with in the woods ) and parks.

Thanks for posting

Alright, then forget what I said about the Invaders/Anthems. You don't want them.

Rossi ghetto/S6 or whatever they're calling it this year

Atomic Punx

K2 Silencers

Armada THall

Armada Pipecleaner

Dynastar TMs

All are decent jumping skis with a medium stiffness as far as I know. It seems as though you want an all mountain twin.

As for height, I think that anything around 169-175 would do. 171 seems like it would be ideal.
