Need good ski edit songs!

This is my hardest part. I would say either use pandora or the video suggestion bar on YouTube. Most people are not going to give away their songs that they have planned to use

make a pandora account. add the artists you already know you enjoy and itll come up with songs you probably havent heard by similar artists. ive gotten a majority of my music from there and some songs i plan to use for the up coming season edits my friends and i will make

just find a song that is original. Make sure it fits the mood of the edit you are planning on making. And the most important thing is that its not overused. I always try to find a song that nobody knows already and i also listen for if it has any good drops. Sounds stupid, but as you listen to the song imagine what an edit would look like as the song goes on. Like imagine different shots and angles and things like that going along with the song.

Good luck!

i tried making a thread similair to this, no one will give you good songs, haha my thread got shat on. basically use pandora and when your bored search youtube, try and find different unigue songs that havent been used is the best way to do it

depends on your editing/ filming style

classic gopro type video uses dubstep/ electro. glitch mob etc.

laidback indie type video- light indie rock, chill newschool rap

gangster rap- wu tang etc

You failed to mention your taste in music. In any case, here are some links:

http://soundcloud.com/slugabed - dope ass future music

http://soundcloud.com/flogsta-danshall - listen to Baba Stiltz - "SexyDaniel" and Beem - "Race to Digital."

http://pelican.bandcamp.com/album/city-of-echoes - I always thought the track "Lost in the Headlights" would be perfect for powder/big mountain stuff.

http://soundcloud.com/cashmerecat/sets/mirrormaruep/ - this shit is downright sexy.

http://vektroid.bandcamp.com/album/neo-cali - beach pop

if you're too lazy to actually click any of those links, here's a li'l preview of one track:

pandoraI like pretty much all gramatik and prettylights (anything under the pl record label), so I just created a couple radio stations on pandora (and playlists/likes on youtube) for them. It also totally depends on your taste in music and type of filming and skiing and what mood you want to get across

I use royalty free songs. Here are a few:
