Ok i have a mac, I downloaded a cd online and I'm about to leave for vacation....the file ended up as a WMV file, and I need to know how to convert it to Itunes applicable (mp3)

I tried just changing the ending and it visually converted to the itunes icon but when i tried playin it in itunes it wouldn't work, ne one tell me how to conver properly so i can get it on my ipod ASAP

when you add a file to the itunes library doesn't it convert automatically? try adding it to your library and you should get a box asking to convert. try that and let's see if it works.

itunes converts from WMV to ACC for you.

get it on your desktop, and drag to the itunes icon. unclick on the icon and it should be on itunes. works for me

when i drag it into itunes it doesnt even show up...or ask to convert, theres gotta be another way

Hahaha that is fuckin funny! Thats like changing the ending on an .xls and hoping it'll be a .mov afterwards!!

then open up itunes and go to file --> add file and do it from there.
