Need an idea for woods project

I'm in woods class right now and just finished my last project, now I need to make another thing

I have free range to make pretty much whatever I want, but I'm out of ideas, so give me some ideas

nothing insanely difficult like making my own skis though. haha
 
have you guys done anything on the lathe in that class? making bowls and shit is seriously awesome to do. plus you can make some pretty cool designs
 
I shop I made a Nice TV stand and a bowl. I mostly spent my time shooting stuff out of the table saw though.
 
Make an intricate and decorative set of coasters. That would be fucking classy.

Or a humidor for a cigar.

Or a xylophone.
 
Make some longboards. If you want any kind of help, i have my little company running up locally.

Yup. I made one in shop class, peep my pictures. but be sure your teacher can get you Baltic birch wood or maple wood, if not, do something else becaus stuff you would normally see in a shop is really soft and not fit for making a longboard.
 
I swear there's been like 30 people who have made long boards and only 3 of them were with any good haha paddles were also a pretty popular thing to make. I like the coasters idea, decently quick to make and could be pretty sweet!
 
dammit. I asked people to not suggest making skis because I knew as soon as someone suggests it I'm pretty much sucked into really wanting to do it hahaha and that's exactly what has happened. I really want to try that. where can I get edging?
