Need advice

So I had a few things I was concerned about since I’m new to this din setting stuff. I am looking to get some pivot 15s din range of 6-15 but….

1: rn my bindings are set at a 6 (armada one’s) would 7 be too much for me? Cause I’m getting mixed results comparing them to charts. Im a type3 skier, 5’6, and 127 ish

“5'6" 135 and 8.5. Type 3+ skier type beat” found in another thread but just wanted to confirm..

2: their is a lot of different opinions on this but would setting the din to the minimum (6 on the look 15) be bad?

thx:)

the 15s are fine they wouldn’t sell them with 6 din if it wasn’t safe. Just crank em to 7 if ur scared

What is your BSL?

I find this calculator to be good:
https://www.mechanicsofsport.com/skiing/equipment/bindings/din-calculator.html

Running anywhere in the DIN range is fine, they are certified all across the range. Is there a chance you are going to grow to be a larger human soon?

Umm like 293 from what evo charts say

You're good to run them at 6. I'd probably go with 6 unless you feel like you're popping out too much. People tend to run pivots at lower dins because they have more elasticity (esp in the heel) compared to other bindings so therefore you stay in the binding better. Look wouldn't advertise them as a 6-15 din binding unless they were safe from 6-15 din

Thanks
