so im looking into some boots cuz i busted mine and a kid is willing to sell me the 1080 boots for like 200 so whatdo you think is it worth the money...

the 1080's are awsome. just make sure your feet fit the boot right, thats the most important thing

 
Yeah, as long as you get a comfortable boot, then they will work fine. I wanted the Rossi Freeride XXX's cause i figured they would be a good boot, but they didn't fit as good as the atomic boots, so i got the atomics...just make sure you are comfortable...

 
One of my friends has the boots and hates them because one of his feet always gets cold. Try them on first and see how they fit. If its good go for it.

 
I've said this a few times... but if you can't get hold of 1080 boots look into Technica Icons, they're some of the best boots around.

dont buy boots online until you try them on first. doesnt matter if everyone else says theyre comfy, it depends on ur foot size. also, how can i make my feet warmer? my toes are always numb by the end of the day, i wear big wool socks too.

 
Wear thin ski socks...they let the circulation go through your foot better or also try footbeds, get them fitted and stuff, that should help.

 
the socks cost like $12 at my shop, footbeds are $75-100. If u wana get heaters they are around $100, they do work. Try the socks before though, wool socks suck, use lyfia!!!

hot chillies work ok -- but smartwool socks are WAY better

i think we had a post or article going about them a loooong time ago.
