I work at a shop in pa so i can get a sick deal right now on '09 stuff but i have no clue what to get and everything just looks sooo nice.... so i need an east coast park ski.... i've been skiing a pair of rossi scratches w/ 82 underfoot and idk what do you guys reccomend... we carry atomic, head, salomon, and volkl so here are my options:

Atomic Punx (Symmetrical park ski. 111-82-111), Head Jon Olsson Pro Model (113-77-102), Salomon Suspect (122-86-115) and the Dumont (122-86-115) and the Volkl Wall (115-87-115).

and then bindings.... Marker Jesters?

and either salomon spk boots, head jo pro model boots, or atomic's new high rolla.

if you want more info check the stuff out on ns at... https://www.newschoolers.com/web/content/pagetemplate/name/sia08/page/sia08_home/

i heart head

go with the jon's for both

get head/tyrolia bindings ppl ive talked to say that the griffins have no durability

haha speaking of i love head.... our head rep gave our shop tees sayin i heart head... unfortunately they are "inappropiate" for work haha

he said jesters... thats the griffins

and id go with either suspects or jo's

salamon's seem really durable now with the wood core and the new edge technology... cant remember what its called

no, it wouldnt hurt, but when salomon makes such dope bindings, and he gets a deal, why not stay with the brand (thatd be my personal pref, but in no way is it important or mandatory)

jesters have also had mixed reviews, durability could become and issue. dont get me wrong, i think theyre dope, i bought a set to put on some ar6s.

for me, itd be nay. i just trust salomon bindings so much more than markers, even jesters, and the fact that id have both salomon skis and bindings, and possibly boots (assuming you get spk's if they fit), id say i was reppin that company proud.

as a personal preference, when i buy a ski from a company that either makes bindings, or has branded bindings, i will be sure to get their bindings, if they (in my case armada) dont make bindings, i will usually put either jesters (my first time trying em this winter) or look/rossi bindings (usually fks or high din px/axial2) on them.

but again, its all personal preference.

i wish i lived near a shop that i could work at. id love to be able to get sick deals like you, make sure you let us know what you got and what it cost you.

light weight, not all that durable, but in most cases, will last a season+. may need to crank din up a setting or two to get a proper release. theyre markers, not a whole lot of people like them (i have a set of jesters, but i got a deal and a half, if i could afford to, id buy sth16s) also pretty damn expensive for each models din range.
