Need advice. Seriously.

I'm really not one to share my feelings, seriously. But this I just can't seem to get off my mind. Every night I can't go to sleep because of this. I'm angry because of this.
Anyway, enough with my antics.
My dream for 8 years has been to ski. Ski for a living. I have looked at my options, as high school is getting close. I want to go to Windells Academy. It means everything to me, everything reminds me of it. I tell my friends, "Oh yeah, I love this place" and they say "Cool". You see, I can't wait till I pull into the concrete jungle, see all the people, and meet new friends. My point is, my parents say "You're not going to Windells Academy." but there is some hope. If you guys just post: "Let justin go to windells" on this thread, you can help me achieve my dream.
Thank you, and I hope you can help me out

whats the big deal about Wendell?

You guys can be will aholes some times, you know that. All I ask for a some words, to help me get educated... and all you do is make dumb responses.

First how old are you?

Second do you want a shitty education but get too ski a fuck ton? if that's a yes go there

Thirdly do you want a really good education and make mad cash when your older and come out of college with a good degree? if that's a yes go somewhere else where you wont have as many distractions like skiing

You clearly haven't thought this out. If you spend your winter going to high school at Windells, how are you going to film for Splice Productions in New York?

If your parents can't afford to send you to windells academy. then they can't afford it. Its pretty reasonable for them to say no, and this thread will probably not change their mind even if it worked like you had planned. Windells academy is A LOT of money.

Now that aside, why does going to academy even matter? You don't have to go to windells academy to ski a lot, or even to become a successful skier. Just go hard man, mabeye you will go pro, mabeye you won't. Things like that shouldn't bother you anyway, skiing is about having fun, not getting famous. And about the friends who ski thing, you will meet lots of skiers at your local hill as you get older.

i might aswell say it, let justin go to windells.but they kinda have a point, i mean i always wanted to just forget about school and ski everyday, even if it meant i was poor but now i realise it's better in the long run to get good grades because good grades = good job and a good job = lot's of money and lots of money = being able to ski when you want and buy tonnes of sweet gear.

Let justin go to windells.

BUT, he should seriously reconsider his options. Being closed-minded is something you'll regret after you have a poor education and can't find a decent job..

why do you think you need to go to windells to be pro? sure its a great program but its mad expensive. do what most of us do, build a backyard setup/summer set up, do tramp, join a freestyle team at your local mountain, learn, progress and compete. windells makes most of your time but you pay for every second you are there. i think its overkill personally, but do whatever you want. make the most of what you got. goodluck

no. i wanna go to windells academy to, BUT that would mean leaving my bestfriends who i LOVE skiing with because we always have good times. honestly rethink this, i kinda wanna make a speech but im to hungry. /threads for possible speech later.

I hope you know Windells academy is 35,000 for the year, or 20,000 for a semester. So you expect your parents to pay 4 times that just so you can ski a lot and not get any real education. That's a lot to ask from parents. My parents wouldn't even pay half of the fee for me to go to mount hood camp for a week this summer. Some things you just can't have and as a 12 year old you need to realize that so you don't go around like a spoiled brat. Also keep in mind I live in New Jersey and was still able to get about 40 days this year.

i did 100 day seasons when i lived in upstate new york, going to school full time.

now i moved to pa and i did like fucking twelve days.

but what im trying to say is you dont have to have your parents waste 40 grand a year so you can hang out at fucking windells all winter.

Sorry but as Mike Douglas himself even said, "there's no money in skiing." Only a handful of the top professionals actually "ski for a living." I mean, isn't it every Newschoolers dream to ski for a living. Time to wake up to reality dude.

Take the money you'd spend on windells and buy some sleeping pills. That should help your sleeping problem and the sleep deprived education delusions

and alex bellemare. well is he technically pro? he's in dew tour, sponsored by armada, and films with level one and brotherhood films

Pro = professional, meaning able to support yourself financially just on your skiing, whether that is due to contracts or comp winnings. Kids use the term pro pretty loosely

Wait til you're old enough to not give a shit what your parents do or say, move to a ski town and become a ski bum. It's not hard.
