Need advice about lifters

i just got my new head skis and they came mounted with some bindingss that were included in the package. so now when i am buckled into my bindings the bottom of my boots are a good 1.5-2 inches off the skis themselves. is this not good for park, which is all i ski ? the only people i have seen with these risers or lifters is old people on the groomers.

tose are pretty big lifters, i have mojos too and i dont use lifters, you will be more stabel without them on jumps and rails

if you do take them out you will need shorter screws so they dont poke out into you base, your shop will take care of that for you

taking lifters off is a delicate ordeal. Don't try it yourself, and make sure the guys in your shop are competent.

YOu'll adapt. I had p12 lifters.. then got the p12 jib... and couldn't even tell. If you can ski at all, you'll be able to rip either way.

lifters make it easer to move the ski side to side, basically making you have better leverage, so possibly but ive never had lifters on skis i used for rails

I had lifters on an old pair of skis and I didn't notice much of a difference for park. They gave a little leverage for carving out turns but all in all weren't very different.

I don't know why people make a huge deal about lifters, in most cases they aren't even a noticable difference, now if you had mega fat skis, the lifter would make them more managable on groomed snow, but for park, you won't be able to tell the difference, if they're already mounted with the lifter then just leave it.

2 inches? I don't think my AT bindings put me that far off the ski! If you're exaggerating as much as I think you are and there's just one lifter on there you should be fine. Unless you ski park almost all the time they won't be a huge deal, and lifters make it easier to ski the rest of the mountain anyway. My general rule of thumb is: lifters>90mm>no lifters.
