im a huge noob to illustrator just got it today and i gotta get good at it for a job.or at least functional in it.
Ok so my question is, i scanned in some lineart and live traced it to make vector images. I expanded then ungrouped. But the problem is, in my line art there are some holes in the lines like gaps so i cant select objects i want. I guess the situation would be synonymous in paint or photoshop where you have the paintbucket tool and you want to fill an area in but theres a gap. But idk how to close those gaps. Like if i take the brush or pen tool and try to just draw a line in the gap, it creates a new path and doesnt seperate the area into two objects. how do i fix this?
