Need a Roommate in Burlington?

Yea yea, another one of "those" threads. But I was just given the opportunity to move to Burlington REAL soon and I don't have much time to find a place to live. If you have an extra room that you're looking to fill, let me know.

I would be down for either a long term lease or a short term stay in order to give me more time to find something permanent.

Or does anyone have any suggestions on where to find good apartment (besides Craigslist)?

Anyone who can point me in the right direction would be much appreciated!

I would move fast, most people that are looking for apartments, start a whole year before they want it just to get somewhere decent. Maybe try getting a place in Colchester right across the river, it's a bit cheaper too

Good idea, I'll be checking that out too. I would have started earlier, but the job offer just came yesterday and starts in a week.

try looking here for some places http://www.burlingtonrent.com/
As the person said above me it is the start of all schools here so finding a place is gonna be pretty hard. You can try Winooski as that is a nice town relatively close to downtown burlington.
Where are you working?

Sweet, never heard of that site. I'll be working i n Winooski, so will definitely be checking places out around there too. And yea, I graduated from UVM two years ago, so I know how hard it is to find decent places downtown, I was hoping the surrounding area would be much easier!

Buump!

Does anyone know the easiest ways of finding an apartment/ house for the next school year? I was told to start early but I'm still lost just browsing through craigslists and that Burlington rent site
