need a place to stay

Hey me and 3 of my friends want to get out of minnesota like 5 days in january and go skiing at a real mountain. only thing is we are kind of on a budget and we were wondering if there was anybody here on newschoolers that would let us four stay with them. We would be able to pay you some money. All we need is like one room for all of us to crash in for the night. So if anyone lives by a real mountain it would be sick if you could help us out.

No one's pissed man. I understand your situation. You may want to look into A hostel if you're only staying for a few days.

The word hostel intimidates me. Too close to hostile. But yeah bro... we all totally feel your situation.

I just don't like it because it's close to hospital. The two times I can remember going to the hospital they told me that I was going to loose my eyesight for a short time and that they almost had to amputate my leg soooo.

where did you want to stay? I live in calgary...dont know how thatll help you but we are moving to whistler this summer in may....

Hostel is also damned close to HOTEL.... if you know what I'm saying.... hostels - here I come....

unless anyone has couches in the east that want a Dave sleeping on them... you know you do....

 
I am gona start at Tremblant and work my way south for a while.... then see where that takes me..... I guess... unless something better comes along. yep. so in other words - I have no clue. Just where ever the skiing is good and the jumps are big.

 
well we want to go to either colorado or utah or montana. anywhere that is big and not canada because i got in a little trouble going to canada a couple of years ago so i cant go there.

HAHAA you got kicked out of canada !!! HAHAHA .... well i have to have a lot of papers with me too when i go in so yea i kinda know what its like

 
hah i just watched travel channel and it was saying how the population of california is larger than canadas. does anyone else call it canadia? sounds better

 
yeah that was back in my pot smoking days and i didnt get caught by canada my mom caught me and since i still live at home she wont let me leave the country cause she thinks i'll end upo in jail. hahaha

 
that's funny. one time on my way to ski camp i got caught at the boarder with a few grams of pot. only got charged for 'unclaimed goods' and got off with no criminal record and just a $310 fine.

and ya it's true - cali' and canada have about the same population, and only some americans call it canadia, i don't think i've heard one fellow canadian call canada canadia. I'm going to start calling the states usia, and americans usians.

Oh lord I have a bad story...last May a whole lot of us drove out to shuswap for the long weekend.

Three of my friends had pot and ...other stuff in the car with them while they were speeding. They all got haule in, spent the night in jail and got charged with traffcking

i was so paranoid crossing the border but we had no trouble crossing then when i got home i had some left and my mom found it. she totally flipped on me. but yeah anyone that would let us stay with them??? cmon please:(

 
ill be in co starting jan 14. youre more than welcome to stay at my apartment. you may not get much sleep though since parties are nonstop there. email me and tell me what you think

 
check out couchsurfing.com, its a site where ppl offer free stays at their homes. never used it, but its legit as there was a section about it on some business mag i was reading
