Need a new ski bag

ive had a few ski bags in my day but this march will be the first time i take my skis with my on a jet so im looking to buy a ski bag that can withstand torture from baggage handlers and other airport staff...

any ideas?
 
I have the Dakine Fall Line Double wheeled bag. It has stood up to the abuse of the airlines very well. Sometimes I take 2 pair of skis and sometimes I'll take 1 and put all my outerwear in the bag for extra ski protection.
 
ive got the line one. Its great IMO for a single pair of skis...its got some padding in it, enough to make a difference during travel, but i would invest in a good bag that can hold 2 pairs of skis, and a pair of boots, something like the oakley/dakine/armada ones....i wish i had the money for one every time i travel.

it's pretty good, but definitely pad your skis REALLLLLLY well if you are going to fly with them.
 
Best bag out there hands down. It has everything. They pop up on TD abnd SAC for like $100 every now and then. I'd wait for that to happen then grab it fast. I've flown a ton with it and ridden on trains and in cars and it's the best and most durable bag ever.

Drew-Z what do you need a bag for I just got that ill rack so we can hit up the Greek Peak Pow. On the bag front I just got the cheapest one. I have an old salomon canvas bag and it has kept my skis safe all round the world. That Line bag is really nice and only $80 on BC. But I would only get it if you had the extra cash lying around.
Im heading out for aspen tomorrow and will hit you up when I'm hiking the bowl wit ma BLENDS!!! (only place I get reception).
Keep repping LR7 hard and always remember Jibs!

get a sports tube, i've flown with mine twice and no problems. Hard shell. they aren't that heavy and you can get em even cheaper than most bags ( i think mine was like 40 or something on sale- for a sinlge).
