Need a new skateboard

I'm just getting into skateboarding, I have an old one that works for now but i'm looking to invest in a new one. What should I get for under 120$$? I have an idea of what I want, bones wheels, bones bearings and a zero deck but i'm pretty sure as for everything else. Thanks.

I just started skating this year also. I bought bones haslam wheels and a Deathwish board from my friend, then bones reds and destructo 2 trucks from my skate shop and I'm holding up just fine

It really doesn't matter. Blank board, mini-logo bearings, some solid trucks, and bones wheels should get you a solid setup. Honestly, its pretty difficult to get a bad setup a skateshop. They generally carry, at worst, average gear. It just depends on what your preference is for shapes, etc.

If you need trucks I have some Independent Stage 10 Reverts that I'll sell you. I've never used them cuz they are too small for my deck. And they're red so you'll go really fast

My opinion is to invest into a solid set of trucks, bearings and wheels. The reason being is that these parts can be used on multiple decks (Just like boots/bindings with every set of skis). Spend some extra money on wheels, trucks, and bearings but keep on buying shop decks since you really are just paying for graphics for the deck. My recommendation on bearings are bones super reds. These have been going strong for me for about 2 years with no problems, or if your really want to invest, go with bones ceramics, i skated some and that shit was heaven. For wheels i would go with bones, they are very, very, very hard to flatspot and even if you do they will ride out in no time, plus they last a long as time. And for trucks i would recommend indys or thunders. And for the deck just get a shop deck, like i said you are paying for graphics.

Invest in some indy trucks for a blank 8.25" deck. Its a god damn accomplishment to break indys unless they get run over by a car.

For bearings just go with any bearings that are cheep and have a rubber shield. You can service those and the quality is all the same bearing to bearing.

Wheels I prefer them at 56mm to give me the most thane for my dollar but with duro think about what you are skating on. If its mostly skate parks go with 100a duro. If you are skating on streets especially in the northeast where the road is rough as shit go with a 92a or lower duro to absorb the rough ass road from vibrating you to death.
