Need a new phone- suggestions

Lookin for a new phone, I've had my iPhone 4s for almost 5 years. Battery is starting to go, gps is fucked, and the speaker works 50% of the time and I need a reliable alarm clock.

I'm looking for something small, the iphone 6 is way too big and the 5 is larger than id like but that's more or less the smallest on the market these days. My girlfriend has a samsung 4 (don't know the type, galaxy?), it feels a bit large. I do like how I can download emulators to play old games though.

I have no pros for the iphone except for the ease of use. No real cons either. For android phones, I like the ability to download more shit, but for the cons, simply I've never had one.

I've been looking at the htc one remix, just because it's a bit more narrow. If anyone had one and could chime in on it, that would be great.

Either way, I'm done pooping so I'll leave the rest to y'all
 
I suggest trying out a 'larger' phone like the iphone 6 and see what you think, you should be able to use it for 1-2 weeks and return at no cost (most places do this). You're just used to your insanely outdated tech (iphone 4s) and I think *most* people are apprehensive about the 'larger' phone but they grow to love it.
 
I use a 5s at work and am gradually getting use to it. I think I'm just curious about how people like non-iPhones and any benefit they have.

And samsung v htc v whatever else there is, I'm not sure after those haha
 
if you want a smaller phone go for the sony z3c. it's the only small version of the flagship phones that doesn't get its hardware cut back real bad. it's the same size as iphone 5 but the screen is quite a bit bigger
 
Check out the galaxy mini's if they still make them... I know they made a Galaxy S3 mini and Pretty sure they did one for the S4.

Just looked it up and apparently they did one for the Galaxy S5 as well.

If you're looking for a smaller version of a decent phone seems like this might be a good fit for your needs. If you wait they will probably be releasing the Galaxy S6 mini shortly I would think. Looks like the Galaxy S6 Mini is on the way in a couple of days.

I had an HTC one. It was alright. I really liked the phone itself but the software had plenty of bugs and shit, it was very frustrating. As I mentioned before the Samsung Minis and HTC whatever they call the small versions are mostly quite shitty. You'd be a fool not to look into the Sony, so far mines been better in every way than my HTC one.
 
Dont get a droid razor mini I hate mine, it wigs out a lot, the scroll up app page sometimes wont work unless its turned off and on, same with charging and the camera is shit for snapchat, usually comes out glitchy and it updates without permission.

I've had Samsung, HTC, Motorola, LG, and Apple and I would have to say my 5S is by far my favorite phone. It's a good size, it is well built, the software is well developed unlike LG.
 
Motorola Moto X. I have the first gen and it's a great phone. It came out in 2013, so you can cop it for like a hundred bucks.

It's fast, simple, super reliable, durable, gps works great, speaker is loud, battery life is awesome. Only con for me is that the camera is shitty but I don't really mind much. I use the alarm clock and it works great.

It *might* not be quite as glamorous as an iPhone, but as far as affordable androids go, this has been my favorite.

It will also notify you whenever you can upgrade your OS, which is a sick feature. Although, after upgrading to Lollipop, it's a little slower and the battery life is slightly compromised due to unnecessary animations and shit like that. But that's more the OS than the phone itself, so just find one with the earlier version of android and avoid upgrading until the next version comes out.

In terms of size, this has a big screen while still not feeling huge in your hand due to extremely narrow bezels. I have hands on the smaller side and I love it.

Just go look it up, it won't disappoint. The first gen is relatively cheap and it satisfies even (tech-savvy) me. It's powerful, modern and easy to use without being unnecessarily ornate.

honestly I'm broke so I just ask my friends if they have a cheap shitty phone then I get a pay as u go plan. the last 2 phones ive had are 4s and they were like 20$ each. that's the ways to go
