Need a new laptop

One got the blue screen of death, the other I just spilled watermelon juice on the keyboard and it won't turn on.

Looking for a replacement that runs smoothly, surfs the web nicely, and can do school work on it.

I've heard good things about the Chromebook in terms of it being very quick and smooth. Just not so sure about the fact that it doesn't really have a dedicated OS to save too. Does anyone own one?

Any other budget laptops that perform well? Not looking to spend over $300.

if you have an ebay account you can get a macbook for pretty cheap. I got a 2010 model for $450.

lol but seriously, dont get a chromebook. I had one and the thing was trash. It broke constantly, the OS system was super confusing and sucked when you wanted to play games like shredsauce and basicly anything that required a download because the OS system was not compatable with the computer.

So say good bye to Itunes, shredsauce, The NS editing comment section page, folders on destop, editing soft were, and you cant take you computer anywhere without internet.
