Need a new, dope labtop.. suggestions?

Sorry, but an Alienware would not be that much more expensive than a comparable computer from another manufacturer. If you were to build your own, however, it would be about double the price (as you said).

I actually just built my Grandparents a computer with a 3.0GHZ quad core and 4GB of DDR3 for a total of $600. Their old one had a 1.8GHZ Celeron and 256MB of RAM, so they were shocked in terms of the speed increase (I calculated the new computer to be about 12 times faster, lol).

Aluminum unibody macbook or macbook pro. I got mine off Ebay so I would check there or the refurbished section on Apples site, since your looking for the best deal. It's pretty damn easy to upgrade the RAM and Hard Drive on them as well.

First of all, a Mac is a computer and you cannot run a computer on "your windows", however you can run OSX on your PC.

And just cause its got an Intel CPU doesn't mean you can run OSX on it, there are many other factors and it's generally a pretty complicated process.
