Need a new all around pack.

Couldn't find the other post about this, sorry guys.

I need a new backpack. I had an old Northface one I got for $30 that I beat the absolute shit out of, but it's getting two small for my needs, always has been on the bit of the small side. I use any backpack I use for everything. I throw all sorts of shit in it, and always have my backpack with me. I am willing to pay nicely for a pack, but want to make sure I buy the right one. Not to sound like a trendy hipster whore, but it needs to be able to conform with whatever I look like that day.. I am a man of many personalities. a.k.a. school, camp, ranch, airport travel, and not look out of place and retarded. and of course sturdy.

willing to look into things. give me your thoughts. thanks for taking the time to read this.

I got this a couple weeks ago it's great for camping

I've had my heli-pro for at least five years and it's still basically the only pack I use. Great for just about everything except multi-day packing trips. I use it for school, hiking, skiing and just about everything else.

It can hold a pair of skis too.

Wow. You weren't kidding. That shit looks tight as fuck. Way over my budget though! Still, thanks for telling me about them +k

Dakine Duel.

I've had mine since sophomore year of high school, and im currently a junior in college.

Dakine backpacks never break or rip in the first 3 years you have them

dakine campus pack. had one for three years, zipper separated from the lining, they warrantied it and now i have another one

lifetime warranties rock

mountain hardwear agama pack. hands down favorite daypack i've ever had. has a laptop holder that i use to double as a camel back holder, expands huge but doesnt fit big. use it anywhere from on campus, fits all my climbing gear in it (rope in its own rope bag, not in the backpack), skiing, anything.

this. my 4 year old heli pro is still going strong except that one zipper tassel came off skiing. i also recommend the chugach 16 by the north face or the north face hotshot. i have an older chugach and it's a fantastic backpack and the hotshot is great but a little big for what i need.

stylish and last long, going 5 years on both my dakine packs, and 8 with my dakine messenger bag, no breaks thusfar!

this. i use my heli pro all the time.

another great all around pack is the osprey talon 22 or 33 (44 may be too big)

Yupp. I'm still using my brothers heli pro he got in high school in 2004. Almost 10 years and it hasn't ripped or anything yet.

Just got done texting the guy that makes Knapp sacks, he's chill as fuck and stuff is reasonably priced, so I'm gonna buy that. Thanks to everyone's suggestions, i appreciate it, and thanks to huck norris for making me hate you.

Was going to post this. I've had mine for 4 years and use it for hiking, school, ski gear, travel bag, pretty much everything. Also Osprey has an awesome maintenance /warranty deal. If you mess up anything on the bag and mail it to them they'll fix it, and mail it back.

depends on what size you get. i know they have 26L and 20L. i have a 20L and i can easily fit 4 1.5-2" binders + a good size text book in mine
