so i will be going to the boot fitter relatively soon once they get the full tilt booters in so i can make the most out of my 2 hour drive to get boots.

im pretty sure im going to get full tilts, my foot seems like the type of foot full tilt built there boots around, also, ive already talked to the bootfitter over the phone about my foot and full tilts, and he says ill have no problem with the fit, but just to come in to make sure.

so please, DONT GIVE ME THE ANSWER TO GO TO THE BOOT FITTER.

anyways, i only weigh a 105 pounds and still growing (im 15) and im 5 foot 5. i ski about 50% park, 50% all mountain (groomers and stuff). im scared the new booters with the 4 out of 10 tongue will be too stiff for me and what i do, so should i look into getting the previous years booter with a 2 out of 10 tongue, or will that be too small?

any help is appreciated and of course you'll get some karma coming your way

I don't know if I follow your question...

The flex of the tongue does not affect the size of the boot.

If I were you I would buy this years Booter with the flex 4 tongues. If you really hate them that much you can purchase any flex you want from Fulltilt for like $60.

sorry yeah i know its a little confusing..

SPARKNOTES: the issue is if the flex 4 of the new booter may be too stiff for my weight and advanced skier ability? causing me to buy the old booter, but the flex 2 may be too soft?

and i cant buy another tongue, my dad will kill me because these boots are a christmas present and he doesnt want to invest anymore in a $400 pair of boots

if you can get the older ones, try that, because that way you save some $ and if you feel like the #2 tongues are too soft you can invest your savings into stiffer tongues

yeah thats what im thinking..

is it a dick move to go in to a shop and try on some boots and then leave and buy them off the internet? cause i dont know what boot size i am in full tilts

I don't think so. You're getting them online so you can get a better deal, nothing wrong with that. Plus it's not like they're your local shop if you have to drive two hours to get there.
