Need a bike

Hey, im looking for a good free ride bike.

i want it to be pretty beefy so i can downhill on it, but i still want to be able to ride around town and for it to not be a huge pain in the ass, a slight pain in the ass is ok but not too bad

i know its vague, but any suggestions

kona stinkys are THE original freeride bike.

relatively cheap, durable, all you want in a bike basically

GET ONE!

im sure there are others but i dont feel like thinking now

Rocky Mountain makes dope fullies, if you want a good one for a decent price check out the Switch, 2006 model was best. if you want a REALLy good bike at a huge but fair price, the RMX. Konas suck btw. Oh and I know Giant stopped making them but the Faith 3 was pretty dope, see if you can find a good used one. like that other guy said, pinkbike.com

 
where will you be riding, what kind of parts do you want, how much can you spend?

Im selling my session 10 in a few weeks

 
i just ordered a mongoose khyber elite off jensonusa.com not a total dh bike more a dh bike than the ac and less than the stinky but 6.5 inches in the back will do the trick for me until i get a full dh bike next year
 
dont get a stinky it would be too much of a ain in the ass for rideing arouns or on climbs...get a heckler, or treck fuel....look on cl or ebay...
 
i just bought a banshee scream off of craigslist for 1200 and it has pretty good reviews on the internet, and i rode it and it feels great, really burly but still pedals decent and feels awfully responsive for how big it is.
what do you guys think of the banshee scream?
