I have just picked up my new Revival from shop and wanted to see how does flat underfoot looks in real (There was no possibilty to try them). And what ? My Revivals which should have JibRocker (tip&tail rocker, flat underfoot) have little camber -2mm of lift per ski; and the rocker in tip is 16cm long, whilst in the tail it is 14cm long (it should be 15cm tip&tail). Is it only my pair or all Revivals are like that ? SHould I give it back or don't mind it and put some bindings on ? I really like the idea of flat underfoot :/

A pic of camber(skis are put togather)

hey I have the k2 revivals too (not skied yet so not trashed or anything) and I just put them back to back and it does seem that there is a little space in between like 1mm even though they are flat underfoot skis, also for the rocker I cannot help because I dont know from where to start measuring it...

1mm would be nothing but these are damned 4mm between my skis. for me it isreally makes diffrence cause I wanted flat ski :/ Leave it as it is or try to replace them?

there was a thread on domains about this, they said from the way you put the skis together it looks really off but place them on a flat surface, and they could have a little camber but its nothing major

why dont you just take it to the shop you got it from to get it checked... or if you got it from the internet go to a random shot so that they can enlighten you

Damn it. How the hell old Hellbents could be completly flat and Revialas cannot be:/ ? I'd wrtie to dealer and we will see. Sorry for the mistake in the topic - my keyborad sometimes wrties diffrent signs than are on the button.

The "zero camber" is more of a marketing thing...there is some camber underfoot, but it's still much less than a normal cambered ski. As far as the rocker, it's pretty well know that K2 measures a bit long, and that's most likely why it's a bit off.

I'm waiting just for what K2 will say. It is little strange for me that last years Hells had zero camber - completly flat, whilst this season skis designed to have zero camber have a little of normal camber. BTW Revival is a sick ski still :)
