NC Skiers, What's wit sugar?

Why can't skiers use Sugar Mountain's damn park? I've lways heard of some mystical bunch of skiers who suppossedly did this or did that, but never anything concrete. Just wondering as I may get a season pass there next year.

 
sugars park isnt even worth taking the time to go into... hit up app if you wanna ride a good park.

yea i hit up sugars park whenever i ski up there with my youth group......if they have no white terrain park supervisors when im up there so if you pay off the mexis that supervise it theyll let u in........but it still sucks and APP rocks the fuckin boat...........GOOD WORK DREW

Yeah. I got some bullshit message back saying: 'For reasons of Insurance and Liability, we don't allow skiers in the park.' WTF does that mean? Skiers are inheriantly more dangerous than snowboarders? Maybe they're afraid we're going to hurt ourselves more because we do something besides sitting on our asses looking cool but never actually hitting anything.

 
i hear beech has a pipe in their park??...!

it is even pre-dug so they dont have to put any time at all into it!!!

app is better though.

^lol negative. they may be 'higher' but they still blow. I live in VA man, I know how you feel, but dont try to make your state look good. ahh man, I am laughing just thinking about you defending NC.

it's not soo much if the park is good or bad but the fact is they won't let you in cause ur a skier? doesn't make sense besides skiers look twice as badass as boarders!

the reason their park is set up that way is to limit the number of people in the park. Plus, in less higher ski population areas they still think snowboarding is the only cool thing.

the snow is actually pretty good at app until about 1 in the afternoon. Then it gets real slushy. if your gonna go, get there early in the morning

For real, if you are goin to wv for a park, you might as well go to nc. Snowshoes park really isnt good, they have enough terrain to make it good, but it seems to me the park staff is kind of slacking and not knowledgeable about features and whatnot, the takeoffs to their tables are flat ledges, the landings are short and usually rutted, the kickers to the rails are either too big or not there at all, the gap sizes to the rails hardly make much sense, and the layout is a bit chaotic. App is definatley way smaller, but i have heard from several people (not just me) that like our park better than snowshoe...
