because if there was a planet like that we would have observed it, and subsequently found the aliens that live there. so obviously said aliens are going to be living in a place we haven't explored yet. god you are retarded.

also, the moon and mars both have water on them. so 3 celestial bodies in our solar system have water, and there are billions of solar systems. i think a few celestial bodies might have water.

and could you please reference any evidence that you have that shows that there is no chance for life anywhere in the universe, other than earth...please.

i get the feeling that people dont understand how big the universe is, and much we have been able to see.

We havnt even been able to truly study our own solar system, and there are billions upon billions of other solar systems out there. effectivly we know nothing about the universe.

 
none have liquid water in the sheer quantity that we have it in, and the fact that i was pointing out was that there is no evidence that life exists on other planets, if you have such evidence please bring it forward. i did not say it was a fact none exists.

I think that the combination of factors that produced the climactic parameters neccessary for life on earth are very rare. however, judging by how common water, the most important factor for life, seems to be (atlest in our solar system and beyond), combined with how large the universe is, these conditions should have been repeated many times over across the universe.

I think that it is pure statistics, that say there have to be many, many other earth like planets out there.

and i'm not agreeing with him but i still think you're fucking retarded for trying to say your opinions are correct while other people's opinions are wrong based on a subject that has no factual proof (intelligent life on other planets). yes i believe that there is intelligent life on other planets but i'm not being a jackass going around combating people telling them that they're ignorant because of a belief they have isn't the same one i have. and its funny to have someone tell you to settle down when they've posted how many times in this thread calling someone ignorant? someone count 'em up... better yet just count up the amount of times he's posted in this thread. i'm not the one who needs settling down.
